The idea for Café Lisboa was born in my head during a bicycle trip along the Portuguese southwest coast in 2015. I fell there in love with everything that is Portuguese and above all with pastéis de nata.

After my return, I gave up my corporate job. After nearly two years of preparation: looking for a suitable place, a general and long renovation, acquiring, testing and fine-tunning the recipe - on April 6, 2017, I opened Café Lisboa, the "house of pastéis de nata". I made my dream come true.

 

After almost two years, Paulo, a Portuguese I met on a bike trip in the small town Porto Covo, joined me. Since then we have been running Café Lisboa together.
